EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
We are doing our "2nd annual" collaboration trail work event together with our neighbors at Lake Ridge Trails, and supercharged by the volunteer college youth from Carolina Mountaineering White Water Club (www.carolinamww.com)!!
This build will be on a Sunday and will be on the Lake Ridge trail set, where Hurricane Helene destroyed the bridge closest to New Gray Rock road.
Workscope consists of removing old bridge wood, relocating bridge supports to new location, decking the bridge, and tying it all into existing trails.
Due to the location of the work, volunteers are invited to either meet at 8am at residential address in invite at 8am and/or the roadside gravel patch near the bridge over Johnytown Branch creek at 8:15. Call Terry Sullivan at 407 284 5497 for details.
We plan to wrap up the build and reward ourselves with a nice home cooked bar-b-que lunch and refreshments.
